A construction video showing one of our recent installations in Sardinia, Italy this project an impressive Utility scale solar project uses 100% High Quality WINAICO Photovoltiac Modules. A total of 68,000 Modules were installed into the Roof of the Green Houses I true Building Integrated Photovoltiac(BIPV) system, Saving Money and protecting the customer from rising energy costs whilst offering a sustainable electricity supply through solar electricity. The “Giave Project”, was started 2012 with success back in February. During the project in Giave (Sardinia) almost 68,000 WSP modules were installed on greenhouses over an area of close to 30 hectares. The project was completed in just 58 days and has already been accepted by the national grid operator GSE (Gestore Servizi Energetici). WINAICO itself was responsible for the overall project management of the 16 MW project. From the financing, through the construction planning of the greenhouses and the plant, right to the entire construction management, the complete project was supported by WINAICO. The plant’s was connected to the grid June 2012.
