While we barely had time to collect three cords of mill ends (mostly bark) our first winter living off the grid, this season we were determined to get started early! For the past two weeks, we have been cutting firewood in the National Forest. This was Alyssa’s first time firewood cutting, and we realized that not everybody understands what the process from start to finish looks like so we thought we’d make a video to take you along for the ride!
