Over the weekend we rented a Kubota excavator to get some tasks done around the homestead. The three large projects we accomplished included paving our driveway with 3/4 minus rock, digging an 8′ hole for the percolation test and digging the footings for our timber frame barn.
We hope this gives you some ideas on how to use an excavator on YOUR homestead. We were able to rent this for just under $300 for the entire weekend, or something in there. Enjoy!
