Vickery Wholesale Greenhouse’s goals for going solar were both environmental and financial. NATiVE “under promised and over delivered,” designing a 40.32 kW system that offset 70% of large commercial greenhouse’s electric bill. A month after the system had been turned on, the solar proved to be a great investment to the farm’s cash flow. Their first bill with the solar PV system in August had a credit of almost $90, compared to their normal $1,500 charge.
