In this detailed video demonstration you will see how a penny and aluminum foil can be used as a source of power to light an Ultrabright White LED(3.1V/20mA). Connecting these homemade cells in series, will yield higher voltage. You can also use larger copper strips from a hobby shop, to obtain higher current. Cell can be revitalized after use by adding fresh electrolyte. Give it a try. It works!
