Jaime Gómez Rivas, Surface Photonics professor at TU/e and group leader at research institute DIFFER, has won a Vici-grant of NWO. In this video he talks about what he is going to do with the 1.5 million euro grant: improving the charge transport in materials by transferring properties of light to those materials. If he succeeds, this creates a myriad of new opportunities, starting with better materials for optoelectronic devices, like solar cells.
