Solar Electric home in Ocala Florida. In early 2016, a 3.92Kw solar electric system was installed on the South facing front of this home and expected to provide about 55% of the homeowners electric needs.
After enjoying living partially solar powered for awhile the homeowner decided they wanted to live 100% solar powered. Later in 2016, we doubled the system size from up to 7.84KW. The homeowner is now enjoying 100% renewable energy from their larger system.
The video shows the home as installed in early 2016 with the original 14 South facing panels and then as it is today with the addition of the 14 panels on the East roof.
