In this video, I show how to make a simple helping hands device that is more flexible than the classic one that most people use.
Because I’ve made my arms very long, they can be a little wobbly. If you want sturdier arms then you should make them shorter or use a thicker/stiffer wire. In use, I don’t find it to be a problem.
I added a fan to exhaust soldering fumes away and an LED light to make it easier to see what I’m working on.
