Clarion Renewable Energy has installed and commissioned a Solar Water Pump for a 5 HP motor at a private farm in the outskirts of Hyderabad. This is a 5 KW battery less system with the panels mounted on a HD GI mounting structure capable of four times a year seasonal tracking providing up to 25% more output. During summer the system pumps water for more than 7 hours per day with the peak pumping happening at noon time. The volume of water pumped exceeds the standards set by MNRE ( Ministry of Renewable Energy, Government of India). The system uses ‘ALTA’ branded smart pump controller, developed in-house at Clarion. ‘ALTA’ uses MPPT technology which enables efficient utilization of solar panel output and results in maximum pumping of water.
