This video is for entertainment purposes, it is not a how-to, but take what you will from it. I am using a 20W, 12VDC solar panel to power the standard RV roof vent that has a 12v fan built in.
Note that to prolong the life of the fan you will need to have a 12v battery run the fan and have the solar panel hooked up to the battery via a charge controller. I sized this panel up for a different fan based on voltage and amperage requirements, but since the roof vent came with a fan, I used this fan instead. I don’t know if this is the right panel for this fan.
