An experiment to have a look at the output from a solar panel under a very overcast sky.
Even under a grey sky there is a small output but not very much!
The charge regulator is a PWM type. The voltage charge set point is 14.5V.
It did tick up to 12.8v during recording but the current that was being delivered was very low.
So even if “full” daylight it’s really just trickle charging the leisure battery at this level of illumination.
