Here is our early prototype solar powered hybrid electric bike, with work in progress. Our prototype has room for an additional 20 solar cells on the dome, to fully power up and further this project with a “better bike model!” We have flatter cymbal-like domes in the shop ready for the next rollout of solar units. From a sitting still- stop, this bike starts spinning away on solar power only. We are catching only a small bit of sun in this video but still she goes like a rocket.
