Simple Solar Panel Build

I threw together a quick solar panel made from old solar lights that had dead batteries. That’s not bad 2.052VDC and 10.59VAC (when connected to my DC to AC inverter) and it’s not even in direct sun light with the sun at a shallow angle. It’s always going to get about the same amount of shadow – in the morning the shadow will be on the left side and in the evening on the right but the middle of the window frame will have the shadow on the right in the morning and it’ll be on the left in the evening and since each cell is in parallel the voltage will remain constant but the current will dip slightly as the shadow shifts across the gaps between the cells and partially covers them.
