Progress in any area of science seems to come in two phases. The first cycle is the addition of a recent technique or discovery to an established agenda. Here it is solar photovoltaics. This leads to new opportunities and markets that were not previously apparent.
We are then followed by fact finding collection phases, where these new techniques are applied more widely, often with greater ingenuity and the previous old models and hypotheses are modified and expanded. Once due diligence is done, previous texts on the subject are re- interpreted and a rapidly developing field of products emerge globally. The market implications are stagerring when you do the numbers $$$!!. LIKE PLANET EARTH’s population, solar energy is evolving and expanding. The old guard point of view unwinds next to our spinning pv cells! Let’s move forward and put the sun to work in many new applications.
