This is a product review of Meadow Hay Superior quality feed size Large 2.25kg part 1 of 2. It is made by a company called Pillow Wad which is a British farming family company.

Pillow Wad is a family run, independent company founded in 1988. They supply fresh feed and bedding to customers nation wide from Rookery Farm, Hinton in the Hedges, Brackley, Northamptonshire.

Their farming methods preserve and sustain flora and fauna to encourage eco-systems. They use green energy sources such as a biomass boiler and a 50kW solar panel system on their barn roofs.

This hay is packaged from the fields and meadows that guinea pigs would normally feed from. The abrasive nature of this hay encourages side-to-side jaw action to stop guinea pig’s teeth growing too quickly and causing abscesses. It has a high amount of fiber to help the stomach digest essential vitamins and nutrients.
