In this game, you explore the solar system, rescue Earth, and help humanity expand into the solar system! You are in control of a powerful upgradable robot, with upgrades strewn around the solar system! This is your start on Mars.
I am developing it in Unreal Engine 4, and plan to make it educational as well as fun! I am looking for ideas from educators to add into it. I already plan to have a to scale version of the solar system for the level select menu, as well as having each planet labeled. I plan to have levels on every planet, the asteroid belt, several moons, and possibly some dwarf planets. I do plan on replacing the default gun with robotic tools.
I apologize for the horrible frame rate, I only have a notebook computer I am working off of currently, but do have plans of getting a more powerful computer if I can get the funds together.
Note: I have not yet added sound to the game, (it is very early development), so I put in “Space Coast” into this video, available on Youtube.
