The N240 is based on the HIT cell technology.
1) A cell efficiency of up to 21,6%:
* To limitate carrier recombination loss
* To preserve as much as possible the electricty generated
* To have a higher voltage
2) New tab design:
* To reduce the electrical loss between cell finger and tab
* To narrow the width of the tab, in order to increase the light receiving area
3) Use of Anti Reflection (AR) glass:
* To reduce reflection and scattering of incoming light
* To generate more electricity on mornings and evenings
The N240 has been approved by TÜV under the tightened IEC61215 Ed2, IEC 61730-1 and IEC 61730-2, Application Class A Standards. These standards guarantee safe operation of the modules and replace Protection Class II.
