Off Grid Water – How do I Get Water for my Off Grid living?

What do I do for off grid water? at some point I will have a rain harvesting system but for now I haul water. I do have the option of buying water from someone who will bring it to me and pump 750 gallons per load into my large 5000 gallon tank. another option which is the best so far is to use my 330 water tote on a hand made trailer I bought on craigslist. the overall cost is 75% less than having it brought to me.
