Grid Alternatives (IE) main purpose is helping out families in low income communities with solar technology which includes installing solar panels at no cost to the homeowners.
Requirements to qualify for solar panels are:
1. Be a homeowner
2. Have Southern California Edison as your utilities bill
3. Roof must be in good condition. No leaks,lose tiles, holes etc.
4. Be income quality
There is also a volunteer program where you can learn how to install solar panels which in long term can help you with getting a job in the field of Solar Technology.
