Hello all. I’m very pleased to present the first stage of my PV solar system setup. Currently the system has 480 ah of batteries but this will be tripled very shortly. The inverter and pulse charger are manufactured by Xantrex and were purchased through the AltEStore online. http://www.altestore.com Be sure to ask for Amy, she was very helpful during a difficult shipping issue. They also provided the 315watt X2 (triple bus bar) solar panels.
Turns out that my Xantrex TR 3624 3600watt inverter is a modified sine wave inverter and not a pure sine wave inverter. Something non-intuitive about the excessive buzzing made me double check. Looks like i some how managed to cross reference my specs on my choices of inverters for the sine wave. However, many maintain that MSW is more efficient output. I will look to run my fridge and lights with inverter and dedicate a PSW for the electronics. However, my Bravia 37″ and pc seem to operate flawlessly, there is a particularly noticeable buzzing at the inverter from frequency interference i’m afraid. I’m surprised that here isn’t more issues with PC, i guess there is a step down transformer involved at the power supply. I’m curious which electronic are mostly affected? I’ll continue to test with MSW inverter and see if any problems arise. This was definitely an unintentional over sight.
I’m very pleased with the out come. Thanks for your interest.
