GETCHARGEDUP @ Solarthon2017

GetChargedUp is on a mission to empower refugees by offering solar energy training. A series of installations will benefit low income families in El Cajon and the San Diego area.

This first installation is part of GRID Alternatives’ Solarthon and will serve as the first hands on training. The free system benefiting a low-income Somali/Kenyan refugee family will provide around $17,000 in lifetime savings, will offset 58 tons of greenhouse gas emissions which is equivalent to planting 764 trees.

#EmpowerRefugees initiative will help prepare recently resettled refugees for the jobs of the future while providing free solar systems to low income families.

Your donations will help our new neighbors get on their feet and get on the roof!
