Rain Power: Harvesting Energy from the Sky
Hybrid solar panel with piezoelectric disk on base and photovoltaic cell on top for harvesting power of rain in rainy days and solar energy in sunny days respectively.
One of the latest energy harvesting techniques is converting the mechanical energy from falling raindrops into electricity that can be used to power sensors and other electronics devices.
Concept Implemented
1)Harvesting rainfall energy by means of piezoelectric
2) GPS based portable solar tracking system with the help of servo motors.
3) Automotive battery monitoring and protection in deep discharge and fully charged condition.
4)Rain sensor for horizontal alignment of panel during rainy time.
