“Distilla’Sun and solar cooker” is soon to be presented at the European Science on Stage festival 2017!
Perfumed waters obtained by steam distillation are widely used in Morocco for their culinary, cosmetic or therapeutic properties. Our Moroccan partners asked us to build a device using solar energy limiting greenhouse gases reject and accessible to all to rekindle this ancestral tradition. By mimicry, we reflected on a device by optimizing operating and cost. Then, we had to check that the water obtained was close quantitatively and qualitatively of those collected traditionally. Finally, we worked on promotion and development, including participation in COP22.
