Finally I did a video on cloud edge effect. Conditions have to be just right to get this to happen. The angle of the sun, the clouds (refraction), angle of the panels, cleanliness of the panels, length of PV feeder cable, state of charge (SOC), temperature of the panels (the cooler the better), and good ‘ol fashioned luck. My solar panels are 18 100w Renogy RNG-100D monocrystalline 12v panels. I hope you enjoy this video…it is REALLY difficult to capture cloud edge effect on tape and then piece all the clips together to make it look good.
