I was doing some research about how to save money when buying solar panels for your home the other day. I was hoping to find a way to get them really cheap so I typed in “Where To Buy Cheap Solar Panels” into google and most of what I found involved me installing them myself. I’m not handy at all so I kept digging and eventually discovered 2 ways (see below) to significantly save a ton of money on solar panels. I decided afterwards to come back and make a video on Where To Buy Cheap Solar Panels so other people could learn what I did!
The first way involves leveraging all the investment incentives out there you can take advantage of if you decide to buy. It’s extremely difficult to find this information easily and clearly. I spent a lot of time looking myself but eventually found an awesome tool which is tricky to use at first but very effective. The second and better way in my opinion is to take advantage of the newest and most hassle free way to go solar by participating in a power purchase agreement. You can save money instantly on your energy with out reaching in your wallet to invest in the solar panels themselves! There’s a nice short video you can watch that explains the program I found.

Solar Power Purchase Agreements – customer agrees to have solar panels installed on their roof, and signs a long-term contract to purchase the solar power used. The price of the generated electricity is usually offered below the electric rate the customer is currently paying their utility.
I ultimately decided the solar power purchase agreement was the way to go but the choice is yours!
