At the Baikonur Cosmodrome the deployment of Kanopus-V-IK 1′s solar panels are tested. Kanopus-V-IK 1 is a small remote sensing satellite.
Along with the Kanopus-V-IK 1, 72 small satellites will also be launched.
Launch is scheduled for 14th July 2017 at 09:36 Moscow time (06:36 GMT) from Baikonur’s Site 31. The launch vehicle is a Soyuz 2.1a with a Fregat upper stage.
