Space Engineers – Rotors Hidden Features, Small Large Ship Connection

After being contacted by a number of subscribers asking about this concept of attaching a large ship to a small ship with a rotor. After a little bit of testing it seem to be a very effective method of building many items. Warning Lights, Blast Doors and even turrets can now be easily accessed through the large ships cockpit.

This map is just a showcase of a few different designs for blast doors that can be used in the interior of large ships.
All of these doors are operated by accessing the reactor control panels next to the doors and clicking the “Reverse” button for the group labeled “Reverse to open/close.”

You can see how they work by going outside the structure and to the top to look through the glass. There are control panels for the doors at the top, so you can activate them from there and watch them work.

Space Engineer is like a mixture between Minecraft and Kerbal Space Program. The game is in alpha.
The main purpose of the game seems to be building a space fleet and fight/ally with the other factions. You build your ships piece by piece and the only know limit for the size of your ship is what you computer can handle.
