This video shows the addition of approximately 3KW of Solyndra Solar Panels that are attached to my Ventera Wind Turbine Inverter. The inverter is designed for maximum output of 10KW of wind power and an additional 2KW of solar power. The Solyndra panels are a fantastic design and are hidden on the top of my roof. They do not require pointing and produce energy from sunrise to sunset even on a cloudy or rainy day. I overdesigned the system so that panel efficiency allows for around 2kw for the majority of the time. Both wind and solar are over sold on what they produce. The overdesign has proven to be the key to making me a happy camper. My 2kw of solar is outproducing the wind and was a whole lot cheaper. Too bad Solyndra went out of business because they were really on to something.
