___1st E-MOBILITY POWER SYSTEM INTEGRATION SYMPOSIUM___
The 1st E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium will be held 23 October 2017, preceding the Solar & Wind Integration Workshops, 24 – 25 and 25 – 27 October 2017.
The purpose of the symposium is to discuss the challenges that arise with increased power demand due to electric vehicle charging, and how they can be met by coordinating with renewable power production in the electrical system (hence the combination with the Solar & Wind Integration Workshop). The selection of topics also highlights the need for integrating the required electric vehicle charging infrastructure with the expansion of the distribution and transmission system.
The Symposium offers a prime opportunity to discuss the significant future impact of E-Mobility on power system design and operation. It aims to bring together experts on electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, power system operators, and stakeholders of the renewable energy industry as well as power system regulators and universities.

___7th SOLAR INTEGRATION WORKSHOP___
This one-and-a-half day Solar Integration Workshop will be held for the seventh time, again in conjunction with the International Workshop on Large-scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Power Plants, and the preceding International E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium.
The Solar Integration Workshop brings together utilities, PV/CSP system developers and project developers, power systems operators and other professionals to exchange knowledge and ideas, as well as experiences in matters relating to the integration of solar energy into the power systems. Speakers from companies and leading institutes are invited to present at the workshop, as well as workshop participants.

___16th WIND INTEGRATION WORKSHOP___
The 16th International Workshop on Large-Scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Power Plants will be held in Berlin/Germany, from 25 to 27 October 2017, immediately following the 1st E-Mobility Power System Integration Symposium and the 7th International Workshop on Integration of Solar Power into Power Systems.
The Workshop provides an International Forum to:
- Discuss technical and economic issues of the large-scale integration of wind power including the recent advances in transmission technologies (AC and DC)
- Discuss project experiences
- Discuss innovative ideas and present results from ongoing research
- Stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between wind energy and power transmission industries, as well as universities
- Identify subjects requiring more research efforts
A major goal is to develop a platform for discussion and to share ideas and knowledge regarding the key issues.
