producing 10 MWh per year. The grid is my battery. My cost to use the grid as a battery is averaging between 350 Cad and 380 Cad per year. That is a cheap lifetime battery. I sell power to the grid when my solar is making more than I am using and I get paid for what I sell. I get paid at the same rate as I buy the energy at.
