The video is intended to help anyone interested in going solar to understand some basic concept associated with sizing a solar system. He also discusses and defines a kilowatt-hour; how to find a customer’s average daily usage from an SCE and a LADWP utility bill; the different peak sun hours in the coastal area versus the inland empire; the difference between AC and DC system size, and a few different sizing options based on a customer’s budget an expectations. For example, one customer’s available roof area could dictate the system size, versus another customer’s goal may be best return on investment.
