Added various pieces to my little aquaponics project. A couple of 100 gallon rubbermaid tubs, a pvc raceway, and another solar panel. No apparent design and engineering involved. Once I decide how to maximize the efficiency of the parts to work together, I will rearrange them. Currently I have 2 separate solar panels powering 2 DC bilge pumps, a DC air pump, and charging a deep cycle marine battery. I also have an Arduino cycling one of the pumps on and off. I have a half dozen tilapia and miscellaneous plants in the grow bed. This is a hack job, but I’m learning as I get new stuff to play with.

Little shadows do no adversely affect my system. In fact, the system will run for roughly 3 days after disconnecting the panel. Thank you all for the helpful comments.
