Rutgers University is setting the bar for utilizing green technology on campus. The new solar array is capable of supplying up to 63% of the Livingston campus energy needs. The Rutgers Department of Utility Operations installed the solar canopies in parking lots that allow cars to park under them instead of using additional space on campus.
