This video was produced to show you the concept of reverse currents in a solar photovoltaic system. Having multiple solar modules connected in parallel produces this effect in grid connected systems. Mismatch occurs when the voltages are different between the solar module strings and it causes current to flow in between them. Solar module mismatch will cause the efficiency to be lower for the system.
