My “run a energy safing bulb on one battery and a 2 transistor inverter” experiment was a little bit of a failure. It did blink but I guess nine Volt wasn’t more than enough to make it operate.
For this job, I utilized 1 inverter transformer and a CCFL (chilly-cathode fluorescent lamp) from an old Lcd observe.
The 2 transistors are NPN, kind BD737 from a (pretty old) old cassette player.
The 2 resistors are eighty two Ohm (gray-purple-black) and one/4th Watt.
I imagine almost any NPN transistor in this offer must do the work.
It has a BCE pin-out.
On a whole nine volt battery, I obtained all around 750Volt but the battery was draining rapidly.
