Solar system is a system that convert light from the sunlight to electrical energy. It is a clean energy that is invented to replace the current energy source. The sunlight is absorb at the solar panel and be converted to electricity at the inverter. Then, the electricity is supply at the house/building. Solar system is most effective during the midday when the sunlight is exactly at the rooftop. This is the time where most of electricity can be produced. There are several types of solar system. First, is the most popular solar system which is the grid connect solar system. It is the easiest to handle as well as require low-maintenance. Next, is stand-alone PV solar system. This type of solar system is usually found at the remote area, where main electrical supply cannot have reached it. Hybrid Solar system is a solar system that used two or more source of renewable energy. Most commonly is wind and sunlight. The best part about hybrid solar system is, users can still enjoy electricity when blackout happens. Lastly is portable solar system. It is light in weight so it can be easily transported from one place to another. In a nut shell, all of the solar system has their own pros and cons. But in our proposal we will be focusing more on the grid connected solar system.
