We’re often asked about how the lamination process works and why we use laminated materials to create our stand up pouches. When we custom print, we first make several different layers of film. One player is a printed layer. Then we laminate other layers above and below that printed layer. We’re sandwiching the printed layer so that it’s protected, and to create a barrier to keep your product fresh, free from outside odors, and even to keep out pests. It also provides strength and stability so it can stand on the store shelf.
