Finally getting around to doing up some videos of my power setup. 3×100 watt Renogy panels are my main charging source along with a busted up 100 watt panel and a Kycera 50 watt panel I use on my house battery. Using the panels in a portable arraignment allows me to utilize their full charging potential and the ability to camp in trees/shade in the summer. Winter is especially important to have the ability to track the sun when it’s so low on the horizon. I see at least a 50-70% improvement in charge rate moving the panels in winter, so that’s huge. There are a number of portable panels on the market now in the $200-300 range that are nice. I went the most frugal route with the $150 panels. I’ve been more than happy with how tough the panels are in the harsh environment I’ve subjected them too. They’ve easily provided 90% or more of my power requirements the past year, so I’m a happy camper……:)
