Off Grid Solar Power – 2kW Array on the Midnite Solar Kid
When you get crappy weather, that usually means less power. If you have spare panels available, you can add more panels to get more power, which is what I’ve done here.
Normally I run the charge controller with three 260W panels hooked up in series as that’s the safest configuration while I’m away from the shack during the week.
Here, I’ve got the entire 2kW array hooked up to boost production on a rainy day.
