This battery was formed by 48 cells 18650 lithium polymer batteries. 3 groups in series to get typical voltage 3.7V x 3 = 11.1V. Full charged voltage will be 4.2V x 3 = 12.6V. Each group formed by 16 cells. Each cell has 4000mAh. As it is low cost battery from China market, I got it is around 2500mAh in real case. So, this battery is at least in 11.1V with 40Ah capacity. I chose this 18650 battery cell because it has over charge & over discharge protection circuit inside and in very light weight, just 5.86lbs totally. It’s already enough for 8 hours DXing running with 100W in SSB mode. ( Warning : Lithium battery is very dangerous. If you want to make one for yourself, you need fully understand the theory before doing anything. You need to take 100% responsibility by yourself. )
