The Silicon Labs EFM32 is applied to run a standalone solar grid. 4 banks of solar panels charge a set of batteries, which run outdoor Christmas lights at night. It adapts if the solar energy was not good for that day; scaling down the lights in order to accommodate the low battery supply.
