Run time is managed by a photo-cell to assure dusk till dawn lighting automatically. Another key component of these solar parking lot lights is the built-in infrared motion detector. It is meant to manage the battery load to provide longer periods of illumination: When the sensor is not “feeling” any activity around, the LEDs will work at reduced brightness (dim mode).
Once movement is detected in the covered area the ultra-bright LEDs automatically switch to maximum intensity (full brightness).
