Our 50″ Samsung Plasma TV began to break and show a large vertical bar going from top to bottom of the screen. I dabbled a little bit in the past with fixing broken electronics, so I took a apart the television and made this video to show anyone who’s interested how hard or easy it is. I also tried to re-seat the flat ribbons to see if that somehow fixes the screen. Reseating computer components sometimes works in fixing computer problems, so I figured it was worth the shot.
