The GEKKO Panel Mounter is a robot to install solar panels in free field solar power plants. The robot is brought to the first panel row with a transport vehicle (Hexapod). Based on this vehicle, the robot starts to install (placing, adjusting, screwing) the first panel row. If the first row is done, the robot moves on to the panel row and continuous it’s work. This work is repeated, until the complete panel street (e.g. 300m) is done. Afterwards the robot transfers again to the transport vehicle and moves on to the next panel street.
