OK, What in the world is EL Screening?
‘EL Screening’ is a quality control process that Tier One or ‘A Grade’ solar manufactures use to test the quality of their panels.
EL Screening is a bit like a big x-ray machine. As each panel goes through the machine it checks for micro cracks in the solar cells. Broken or cracked cells mean those panels won’t operate properly. In some cases, usually for cheaper products, this process is done manually by hand and as you can imagine is prone to a large degree of error.
Tier One EL Screening means your solar system can operate at its peak performance.
Sadly only a very few products on the market go through this quality control process.
