A small project I have been working on these last couple of days. The battery box has the following :
WR20 Solar Charge Controller – Western Co.
4 x NP7-12 Yuasa 12v 7Ah Lead Acid Battery
28Ah of 12v capacity (28,000 mAh)
MISOL 12V Timer Switch Timer Controller LCD
XT60 connectors
Various cables, inverters and chargers
It allows me to use it as a buffer between the solar panels and anything I am charging. Hopefully the coolbox will stay ‘cool’ 24/7 or at least long enough for a week long camp. It will run for a full 7 hrs without any extra charge coming in from the sun.
