China makes the best solar panels in the world.

Who stands to gain the most from our shift to solar?

Homeowners.

Today most of the energy in the world comes from the tiny 1% who own all the oil wells and atomic energy plants. Big Oil. They centralize the energy production and so take most of the money. Oil millionaires often own as many as 20 homes.

As the world shifts to solar, the major source of energy will come from million of homes, each with 100 solar panels, each home generating 300% more energy than it needs for lights, heat and charging an e-car. Already, German home owners are generating enough solar energy to ban fracking and shut down all atomic energy plants in Germany by 2022. That is their stated goal. This decentralized form of energy may seem small and weak, at first blush, but it also spreads out the income, so that each homeowner can eventually earn enough money from solar to pay the mortgage. It is inevitable that the world must shift to solar. That is the real power of solar energy. Solar can pay the mortgage. Now thanks to this great solar payment policy, we know what needs to be done. Solar has created 400,500 union jobs in Germany. As of 2012, there were more people working in solar than in the Auto industry and the Design industry of Germany combined.

The combined cash flow, of each city from solar is over $6 billion, that is the major reason why solar energy made Germany the greenest, cleanest and richest nation in Europe. However, this did not make big oil happy, so they lobbied the Parliament hard to lower the $0.99 kwh rate Utilities are required to pay solar homeowners. And the Parliament complied, weakening the program, slowing down the economy and now wrecking Germany’s future.
Economically, it actually costs about $0.99 kwh, no matter what type of energy we use. The hidden costs of gas are the economic & health damage done to the People and the environment from fracking. The same goes for oil & coal. The health care costs from coal can bankrupt a nation. Solar energy has few hidden costs. It is safe, free and available to almost every nation.
After Fukushima, Japan shut down all its nukes and began rapidly shifting to solar. The majority believe Japan can become 100% solar by 2041. Yes they are also using coal & oil as a temporary bridge fuel. But they adopted the solar payment policy that requires Utilities to pay solar homeowners $0.53 kwh. Four year after Fukushima, all the nukes in Japan are still shut down. Japan will never reopen its nukes, because the majority are opposed to nukes and want solar.
While Germany went towards 100% solar, water & wind first, and then shut down its nukes, Japan is doing this process backwards, from the meltdown.
Germany actually began its push towards 100% solar as a form of protest against Chernobyl. Japan is now going towards 100% solar due to its emergency. Both nations are worth imitating since they seem to have the correct policy and be on an urgent mission to save themselves, and so our world. The German model is the best solar payment policy in the world. Every city should copy it. Every union should understand it and advocate for this solar policy as the best jobs creating policy for the next 100 years, as we move into this Third Industrial revolution, and our shift towards 100% solar. When I say solar, I include wind and water, since the wind & rain come from the weather created by the sun.
This whole shift towards solar began after Chernobyl, when Hermann Scheer came up with this solar payment policy (Feed in Tariff) as a way to replace atomic energy with solar. Scheer had
