Al Araad Solar Desert Farm ( Phese 01/03 )
It is a 135 kW Off-grid solar photovoltaic power station approximately 53 miles / 85 km south west of Al Ain, U.A.E. It uses nearly 500 poly-crystalline solar photovoltaic modules from Solar Alain.
Project construction took place in three phases:-
Solar Alain began construction of phase 1 in January 15, 2016 and the facility began generating electricity on February 1, 2016. Phase I has a capacity of 40 kW, which uses the most advanced solar variable frequency drives to regulate the speed of five 3-phase 5.5 HP, 4 inch submersible AC pumps along with a back-up diesel generator .
