Testing single 435 Watt Solar Panel 20.1% Efficient.. Highest Efficiency in industry to date!
Used a single incandesant bulb (mr16) rated at 20watts. For testing purposes. Conditions were very cloudy.
meter shows open circuit voltage to be at 80volts dc.
A voltage drop measurement across the panel during closed circuit produced approx. 12 volts due to load resistance. This is why I believe the bulb did not burn out at the time.. due to cloudy conditions did not allow power to rise.
