This is a home made 340v-800v input, 240v/120v split phase output inverter. You can also configure it as 3 phase power. It takes the high voltage right from the solar panels, which are configured as 2 parallel strings of 12 panels in series. It’s 45v open circuit per panel, which makes about 540v open circuit for 12 in series, and about 17amp short circuit for the 2 strings in parallel.
At 4.4kW it was about 93.5% efficient. With higher current inductors, it would be good to around 100 or 150amp per phase, so at this low power the IGBT switching losses sort of dominate.
